The Sanibel & Captiva Islands Chamber of Commerce ranks as the most visited Chamber in the state of Florida. Approximately 200,000 individuals visit the Chamber annually, which is open 365 days a year.
The Chamber’s office and tourism center location — literally at the only gateway to the islands (1159 Causeway Road), just moments upon exiting the Causeway bridge and entering Sanibel — is a great advantage for both visitors and the many tourism-related businesses on the islands. A quick right turn and you’re there, where a welcome sign awaits you and playfully advises you to “wipe the snow off your shoes before entering the building.”
The Sanibel & Captiva Islands Chamber of Commerce exists to provide guests information about the islands, a variety of literature, recommendations on everything from best beaches to best dining, directions, video presentations from various service providers and distribution of the best coastal lifestyle magazine in Southwest Florida (one coincidentally named COASTE). The staff is friendly, cooperative, helpful and always pleased to see you arrive at our islands and enjoy the most memorable vacation, wedding, business event or other gathering.
COASTE is a member in good standing with the Sanibel & Captiva Islands Chamber of Commerce. COASTE partners with the Chamber to promote Sanibel Island, Captiva Island and Southwest Florida.
