The Ding Darling Summer Family Film Series will continue with a showing of “Hoot” at 2 p.m. on July 19 in the Ding Darling Visitor & Education Center. A kids’ craft activity will precede the film, which is set in a fictitious Gulf Coast town modeled after Cape Coral and its population of burrowing owls. Much of it was filmed in Boca Grande.
Admission is free and seating is limited and available on a first-come basis. Following the film, visitors are invited to experience the interactive, family-friendly exhibits in the Visitor & Education Center.
The Summer Family Film Series will continue on Aug. 2 with “Finding Nemo.”
