Jeff Shuff, a Sanibel and Captiva islands hospitality industry leader with more than 30 years experience in the industry, has announced his retirement from the position of Chief Financial Officer of Sanibel Captiva Beach Resorts. The resignation is effective January 31, 2016.
Shuff enjoyed more than 25 years at ‘Tween Waters Inn Island Resort & Spa, where he advanced to the title of General Manager — a position he’s held for more than 20 years. In 2015, West Wind Inn was added to the roster of what was then Rochester Resorts, which subsequently was rebranded Sanibel Captiva Beach Resorts LLC in 2015. It was at this time that Shuff moved into the new role of Chief Financial Officer.
Shuff was active in the local hospitality community and served on many tourism boards. “Jeff and I have worked together for many years at ‘Tween Waters Inn, and his contributions have been substantial and positive in helping us grow our resort to the stature it holds today,” says Tony Lapi, President and Chief Executive Officer. “He will be missed.”
“I’ll have many fond memories of my time at ‘Tween Waters Inn, as well as all the wonderful people I’ve worked with and the great guests I’ve come to know personally,” Jeff Shuff says. “At the same time, I’m looking forward to the next chapter in my life.”
